IDEAS THAT NEVER GROW OLD: Church Documents Basilians keep accessible
CONVERSATIONS WITH MACRINA PODCAST: St. Macrina was the eldest sister of St. Basil and St. Gregory - two of the great minds of the early Church. As the patron of the Basilian Fathers, St. Basil is held as a model of Goodness, Discipline and Knowledge for those persons who educate and are educated. Yet, Macrina is recognized as the woman who convinced her brother Basil of the importance of Christian leadership. The topics of this podcast are of a similar nature, conveying issues in need of discussion and awareness in the life of the Church today.
VOICES OF GOODNESS, DISCIPLINE AND KNOWLEDGE PODCAST: Basilians have always been great story-tellers, but only recently have we started to get really good with technology. Now that we have, we have started to capture some of the great Basilian stories in a downloadedable, recorded audio format. This podcast represents volumes of Basilians speaking about their lives as Basilians. We haven't finished the project yet, but you will see that we are well on our way. Each volume is categorized by question with several Basilians responding to each one. The questions concern why Basilians joined, the Basilians who have inspired other Basilians, their favorite memories and characters and what they have learned about God and people through their Basilian ministry.
